The XR400M Motard was Honda's factory supermoto version of the XR400R, launched in 2005. It used the air-cooled 397 cc single in a reinforced semi-double cradle frame but rolled on 17-inch road wheels and tyres, gained electric start, an inverted fork and dummy radiator shrouds, and was aimed at nimble everyday road riding.
